Select your University and course wisely

Students must apply through UCAS.

It’s mandatory for UK admission. UCAS works for Admissions System for Universities and Colleges. It is the centralized system used by all learners to submit to undergraduate universities. Anyone who wishes to pursue a degree in the UK will have to register via UCAS.

 

Embrace British Culture

Prepare to become fluent in English! Studying in the UK, you will be able to immerse yourself in the language and British culture. The UK’s diversity makes it a cultural hub. Manners are essential to the British, so try to arrive at the right time for any meeting or class. You need to make it a habit to say “sorry.” It is not just for apologizing, but trying to start with “sorry” or “excuse me” before beginning any conversation.

Figure out costs and budget

Budgeting is a key factor every student wishing to study overseas. You will have to bear the cost of course fees, rent, food, NHS (National Health Service) surcharge, mobile phone bill, internet, transportation costs, day trips, going home, socializing, books and other course materials, etc. Students can get better idea of costing from various government and migration agency websites.

 

Unpredictable weather

Weather is an important factor specially if you coming UK from south Asian countries. However, the sheer unpredictability of the weather and the British obsession with it, hand in hand, makes it an extraordinary trait.
